You will interview at least four people—mixed genders AND mixed ages—and preferably a mix of workplaces and careers—about their gendered experiences at work. Your will discuss their responses to your questions, themes you see in common, differences, etc. Your will consider the significance of communication – verbal and nonverbal – to one’s gendered experiences. I want you to compare what people say about their real lives to the conclusions you have read about in class thus far.
- Summarizes the interviews, including some of the demographic information of your interviewees.
- Makes an argument about gender at work, as a result of your interviews.
